Co-Founder & Chairman
CEO & Co-Founder of Coffee, technology advisor to the UK government, and former President of the Australian Legal Technology Association. He is also Co-Founder of Techno Ventures, a venture studio focused on the intersection of the crypto and AI economies.
Amber Bobin
Co-Founder & CEO
Amber has over two decades of experience at the intersection of justice, advocacy, and human rights through global nonprofits. As a founding member of the Bring Our Families Home movement, she mobilized families, Congress, and the White House to advocate for the release of American hostages and wrongful detainees.
Ben Jackson
Co-Founder & Board Member
Previously helped Upsolve scale into one of the most impactful access-to-justice platforms in the United States. A rare combination of lawyer, technologist, and philanthropist, Ben focuses on using automation and emerging AI technologies to expand access to legal help.
Our Story
Stevie and Amber first teamed up during one of the most high-profile human rights campaigns of the decade — the effort to free Paul Rusesabagina, the real-life hero of Hotel Rwanda.
Amber was working closely with Paul's family to lead the legal and diplomatic campaign for his release. Stevie, building CaseAid at the time, activated CaseFund — the platform's crowdfunding arm — to raise $100,000 and help mobilize top-tier international lawyers, advocacy partners, and global attention.
The campaign became a case study in what's possible when technology, legal strategy, and coordinated pressure come together. After 939 days of wrongful detention, Paul walked free.
That moment revealed a bigger opportunity: to build permanent infrastructure for justice. Today, they're scaling that vision through CaseAid — combining tech, talent, and networks to deliver legal help to those who need it most.
